I don't think China is stupid enough to do anything.

| USA, north-korea and Iran. Russia is... well, I don't think they'll do something. They usually like to invaide to their neighbour countries but in modern world it's not so easy and I really don't think that they would want to do something against world peace | |

| Why you underestimate China? USA and Russia are plaing games, like in Cold War, but China is too powerul in economics. Imagine - if they sold all USD they have, in US will be hyper-inflation. In efect, the US and European economy would crash. Faster and for much longer time than in case of traditional war.
In EU & US they have economy based on free market. In China the economy is still managed by gov. I simply don't believe they don't have ambitions to rule the world.

| "Beginning in late 1978, the Chinese leadership has been reforming the economy from a Soviet-style centrally planned economy to a more market-oriented economy that is still within a rigid political framework under Party control. The reforms replaced collectivization with privatization of farmlands, increased the responsibility of local authorities and industry managers, allowed a wide variety of small-scale enterprises to flourish, and promoted foreign investment. Price controls were also relaxed. These changes resulted in mainland China's shift from a planned economy to a mixed economy."

Back to the topic, I believe that currently the largest threat may be Iran and the Islamic terrorists.

| Yes, but still the gov in China can do almost everything in economy. US gov dont have such possibility. This is what I wanted to say about China. | |

| USA and Russia. One is falling another is riseing. At the moment everything seems to be in balance, but when USA-s time should really be over, or when USA backs off from world politics, i actully don't have a clue who will be there next to Russia, China maybe. | |

| For all of those who selected the US, I recommend to put this in historic perspective. Please compare them and their behavior with other historical empires, they are quite reasonable and very stable even if over-reacting sometimes. If China or Russia be in their position today I'm afraid that they would behave much much worse. | |
