The French youtubers are right now having a hot debat about if their president was drunk in G8 press conference or not. This video is taken after his launch with mister Putin and the French press wasn't allowed to show it. Sarkozy, though, has apologized for that and said that he had just hurried to the conference and therefore he was a little bit breathless. It's weird because Sarkozy is known in France as a good runner And that's a video taken before he became a president: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OFWi9-o-Po to show how he usually talks.

I'd say he definitely acts weird: his eyes are strange, he smiles all the time without any reason, he leans on the lectern and pendulates himself. He doesn't remember what he had just talked to Putin. And the things he is telling is also a little weird in some places. + the burp.

Yeah I heard about that, it made me giggle.

Abstracting from this event, Sarkozy seems to be a much better diplomat than Chirac. He seems to fit well to political salons. But on other hand the myth of his supposed pro-liberal economy stance is already destroyed at the beginning. However about this issue, I would expect nothing better from any other French leader as well.
