| They will do it after the polish parlament support the resolution which naming Jesus Christ as honorary king of Poland. After that Jarosław Kaczyński will have the support of god to do all what he wants. Just like a pharao.

| They must do a survey and decide with the help of this survey. I don´t think that people in Poland would dicide to dismantle this monuments.
And of course, if Polish government decide to take down the monuments, it would never have good relations with Russia.

We will see it, if the farao .. eh.., I mean, Jarosław Kaczyński, would allow such kind of survey.

| Well I don't see a problem- why not? Russia is way ahead of both Estonia and Poland already. Miles ahead. Who can read Estonian, see this delfi article: http://www.delfi.ee/news/paevauudised/valismaa/article.php?id=15952227
A loose translation: Another monument destroyed near Moscow
The WW II monuments in Russia are having bad times- in Aprelevka, near Moscow, a monument dedicated to the defender of Moscow, the pilot Vassili Poidenko was taken down to widen the Kiev highway.
As a cruel irony of faith, the part of Kiev's highway which will be built over the ex location of the monument is named Poidenko.
[...]
According to newsru.com, the state of monuments in Russia is nothing near good. No one is financing the maintenance of thousands of monuments. Monuments with national importance were given to the local authorities responsibility, but they lack the money. Some monuments just dissapear unnoticed.

| For god's sake! whatever happens in Russia or Estonia or elsewhere, it has nothing to do with any monuments. And the mother**ing monuments don't insult anyone! all that thing was just to tease russia and check its reaction. So those who remove monuments and those who protect them don't give a shit about anything - it's all the show... "We'll make you respect our independence!" - "We'll make you respect our history!".. Idiots! | |

As for monuments in Russia, see the post above: financial problems, road buildings etc. Like I said, noone really cares about them - it's a political game. Besides there are monuments in every city in Russia, and there was only one in the centre of Tallinn... It's okay if you decided to relocate it but... Damn! I'm fed up with this monuments issue let's talk about birds!

Hmm so we had a better reason to relocate it (not even demolish, only relocate) and the Russians are still whining. And they wonder why some Estonians really hate them...

Who's whining man? And do you think it's alright when someone hates russians? Russian government is whining. And it's not good. And thats why it's sad. But look at some comments on YouTube videos for example. Russians are bigger haters than us.

There is no such monuments in Poland, all were moved or destroyed long time ago. The names of the streets were changed as well, maybe in some small provincial city you would find still street named after some communist.
