| Turkey has been more of an Islamic country to me than an European one. But I'll wait and see. | |

| I'm not sure. They have some big problems in their country, before fixing them they can't join with EU, in my opinion.... but at the same time... well, I don't know | |

| We might aswel accept Iran or Syria, I don't see any point in getting them in, besides only over 3% of their lands are in Europe. However they're a democratic country pretty long. (I agree about many of them beign horny...too horny, Yes I've talked to some of them). | |

Trayus, even if we take off the egoist thought of that our countries like Poland or Hungary would probably get less support for integration, so even beyond that: Turkey has terrible statistics as for its living standard. Infant mortality rate is two times the one in Bulgaria and, the one in Bulgaria is two times the one in Hungary There must be also a deep polarization in territory as one can never find any Turks from the inner areas of the country, only from the coastal cities and maybe Ankara. There are extremely many things they must solve and make before being ready to enter the EU Besides all these, of the new 12 EU members at present only the Czech Republic, Slovenia and newly Estonia reaches the 60% of its GDP per capita on PPP (purchase power parity) of the old EU 15. Reaching this quite was originally a quote each country should reach before joining.

| I think the Turkish should solve their own great problems before they were taken to the EU; otherwise they will start to immigrate massively and that would not be very nice. I have talked to quite a lot of Turkish men in MSN. I don't know what they have been talked about European women (maybe that we are all sluts?), but anyway it's hard to contact with them because they are so horny. I don't think anyone would want that kind of unpolite, undescreet people here. | |

| I "love" when I am speaking to Turks and they are telling me (with their 50 words vocabulary) that in Turkey everybody is rich, their living standard is higher than in Romania and Bulgaria... And keep telling me that I am also Turkish, because they are taught that Hungarians are of Turkish origin (partly true, but I am not Turkish just because of it) | |

| Hungarians come from the mighty Hun's as far as I remember, eh, Hungarians are far more nicer and less horny than Turkish if You ask me, there are too many diffrences to even compare. I think Hungary was once conquered by the Ottoman Empire once right? Luckily for You (I think) the Habsburg Empire took over. | |

| Yeah, it was him! The Ottoman butt's were pwn't by the great Republic of Both Nations! Thanks to Jan III Sobieski (John the 3rd Sobieski) He and the Polish armies also saved Vienna, the capital city of Austria from the nasty Turks, in the battle under Vienna. | |

| Why not, I would let them in if fulfill all necessary criteria. They would change a balance of power in the EU. They seems to be people ready to stand behind their vital interests, I like such attitude. More plurality in the EU is definitely necessary. | |

there are too many diffrences to even compare. I think Hungary was once conquered by the Ottoman Empire once right? Luckily for You (I think) the Habsburg Empire took over. Hungarians DON'T come from the Huns, just Indo-EUropean folks started thinking it, because we had a similar style and living, so they called the Hungarian tribes huns--->Hungary, Hungaria... We call Hun: hun, Hungarian: magyarThough most of us think that we have some relation with Huns. Though our language is Finno-Ugrian with Iranian and Turkish loanwords.
