Look, Germany (our enemy in the WW2 btw) gets most of the fuel it needs from Russia, and I have never heard a german say that they depend on us. You get lot of their money because of 2ww, dont you? They have much more diversificated oil sources. We have over 80% of oil from you.

| Well as for Hungary's part, we had to pay with industrial products: for example in my city there was a bathtub-factory and those bathtubs were taken on wagons and were delivered to the Soviet Union for totally free, as a "payment" for that they "liberated us". | |

| Oh I see we got our selfs here a Russian bashing theme. But well I am sick of that, I really would like to think that my country is having a nice friendly countries as neighbors. But it is really hard to think if I get the idea that they don't wish the same, or threat us. So sad too bad But still I will try to think that way and will try to be more optimistic about it and think that we all get along/will start getting along. /\I know that can (probably does) sound weird | I am sick of the bashing (probably still do it but try not to unless I get pissed). I think we all should try to persuade our governments to work better and nicer (not involve into others business). I still think that political generation should change because there are too many old with strange backgrounds politicians. | |

- I dont want to say, Putin is bad and everyone who is against him is good. This example shows a range of methods, Putins regime uses.
What range of methods anyway?.. Those who killed Litvinenko using such methods knew there would a great noise certainly. What’s in it for Putin? I think that as Litvinenko had given an interview like that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YB8-4WRp1E8&mode=related&search= they just had to liquidate him quickly to stop him talking. But about Jeltsin... I'm actually quite thankful for him because if you would have had a president like Putin in that time, we probably wouldn't be independent right now. I've even heard that our president gave Jeltsin alcohol so he would sign the independence contract

| I don't know if it has been mentioned here, but there once was an article about the possible reason why Putin might dislike Estonia - his father served behind enemy (German) lines in Estonia during WWII. Hiding in the woods, and running out of food, Estonians had taken him in and fed him, but later had given him up to the Germans. Then he had escaped and breathing through a reed hid himself in a bog. | |

| I've also heard that. But I think that the reasons of his behavior are political. A man who is responsible for all Russia can't afford himself to be a wind arrow who follows his own moods in everything. Of course it can be that he really dislikes Estonia, too; well then he can be happy because the politics fits so greatly with his moods | |

| There is a well-known portrait Upon the classroom wall: We see the face of Putin, So dearly loved by all.
His eyes are kind and smiling, With wisdom deep they burn, Them seem to tell us children The way to live and learn.
And all the Russian children, While studying day by day, Must always try to follow Great Putin's noble way.
