| Russia in EU? No offence but I think that's impossible. The relations won't warm up that soon in my taste. | |

| For me the full integration sounds like losing your culture and being just a small and unimportant part of a big country. I think integration and friend-making is good but it's also important to stay a little different from other countries and nations. | |

| One of fathers of UE said, that he would have a chance unite countries in UE again, he would unite 'em by culture, not economics. It was Schuman, I guess, but a can be wrong. Dr at seminaium said that few months ago. | |

Yes, it is impossible at the moment, but actually I don't see any tangible reason why... just mutual misunderstandig between Russia and EU.

Why not? You can't speak on behalf of the whole europe. What is so wrong with Russia? I mean, you guys are seriosly discussing whether Turkey should join or not, which is absolutly ridiculous, and are saying that Russia just can't join... I guess Russia could be something like... UK maybe... they too have a special way in everything, don't use europian money and stuff.. but they are part of europe. To be honest, I am totally annoyed of obtaining visas and stuff... Just hate it.

I would laugh my head of if Russia somwhen would want to join with EU, and if EU should let them do it . It sounds so impossible- Russia in EU. Eu making penalty for Russia because they have too much sugar, for exapmle... xD Turkey joining with EU is same impossible...

Lots of people in Russia don't want to join, it's true. As for the territory, most of the people live in europian part of the country; most of the industry is concentrated there too. The rest of the country is just a wild and cold land - not so many people live there.

| Russia will never join because: 1. Russian political elites aren’t interested 2. Russian is too big, bigger European countries would hate to offer them twice as many votes as to Germany for example. | |

| There's also that problem that Russia's politics is usually considered to be too aggressive to join the EU. And about Russia paying the sugar-penalty... That makes me laugh, too (Don't feel offended about the last statement - I think it's just pathetic we need to pay it.) | |

| If your production of sugar (and milk!) is over the limit, you have to pay penality. This keeps prices of milk and sugar high. Otherwise farmers would bankcrupt, because of to low prices of milk and sugar. | |

Otherwise farmers would bankcrupt, because of to low prices of milk and sugar. Well, it's not a big problem then. I can deal with high prices, I just can't deal with low salaries

| It is not a problem for you, but for farmers, who wants to produce more and more. But they have to keep the limits. They don't understand, that they will have to go bust, if not the limits. | |
