| What do you know about them and who do you prefer? Here is a list of the main parties here: * Estonian Centre Party (Eesti Keskerakond) - (left) populist 'liberal' (member ELDR) - website (only in Estonian * Estonian Christian Democrats (Erakond Eesti Kristlikud Demokraadid) - christian democratic (member European Christian Political Movement) - website (most info only in Estonian) * Estonian Independence Party (Eesti Iseseisvuspartei) - eurosceptic - website (only in Estonian) * People's Union of Estonia (Eestimaa Rahvaliit) - (left) populist, agrarian (member UEN) - website (only in Estonian) * Constitution Party (Konstitutsioonierakond) - Russian minority, centre-left - website * Estonian Left Party (Eesti Vasakpartei) - democratic socialist, member European Left - website * Estonian Greens (Eestimaa Rohelised) - ecologist, member European Greens - website (only in Estonian) * Social Democratic Party (Sotsiaaldemokraatlik Erakond) - social democratic, member PES - website * Estonian Reform Party (Eesti Reformierakond) - free-market liberal, member ELDR - website (only in Estonian) * Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica (Isamaa ja Res Publica Liit) - conservative, member EPP - website (most content is in Estonan section) Personally my 'favourite' parties at the moment are the IRL (Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica) and Reformierakond (Estonian Reform Party). I'm thinking of going to the politics myself and I can't choose which party should I join My favourite politican this far is Mart Laar (IRL). At the parliament at the moment there is a coalition of Reform Party and IRL (and sthe Social Democratic Party), so I'm quite happy for that. So, what are your opinions? | |

| Nah if you join one of those partiese then you will be able to get to parlament maybe in 30 years. I have also thinking about going some day into politics but I don't see any of these parties fitting to me except Estonian Greens | |

There are people younger than 50 in the parliament you know And the greens don't know much about politics. They only care for the nature, so it's good to have 6-7 of them in the parliament, like now, but not more.

They are social-conservatives? Why they are in coalition with socialist party, no other option or free choice?

| The 2007 Parliamentary Election Reslults
I don't know why such coalition was established, I guess they were better choice than the Greens. Imo, greens seem more fit in the opposition anyway.

I also 100% agree about Greens. From my biased rightist point of view, Greens are useful as long as they steal some votes from bigger left wing parties. If they would won more seat, this would not be funny anymore

| Why do you consider it that bad if the Greens would be in coalition?
I agree that as they just started their party, it's good for themselves to get some experiences. But in the future it would be good if they got into the government because then they could really do something for the nature.

But in the future it would be good if they got into the government because then they could really do something for the nature. Their main 'concerns' are and will be the nature. Not that it's bad, but I don't think they'll be good enough politicans to have a bigger part in the government. And why in the opposition? Becouse opposition is the one who whines over everything that the coalition does and tries to find the mistakes there and that's the role I find is the best for the greens.

| I don't think they should have the most of government or something but about 1-3 minister briefcases would be good. | |

| Hmm I don't think they should get any places where they have power over everyone else, including minister briefcases | |
